Inappropriate laughter Wednesday .

Your discussion of inappropriate laughter on the news reminded me of one on Channel 8 back in the late 80’s or early 90’s. I believe the reporter was Valerie Williams and she was doing a report on the blizzard conditions in Amarillo. When they threw it to her it was so windy and cold she could barely get the words out of her mouth. I don’t think my wife and I have laughed harder since.
But when they threw it back to the studio, Tracy Rowlett and his co-anchor ( I can’t remember who ) were laughing out loud as well. Great moment on Channel 8.
I looked for this on YouTube but couldn’t find it. Just wanted to see if you or anyone up there remember that.

An owner who is way too involved in something he’s not really good at doing (running a team).
A general manager who may be the worst GM in football, who coincidentally enough is the owner (that makes two things he’s not good at).
A coaching staff that can’t evaluate talent (Williams and Carpenter,how much of that is Jerry?) much less change their game plans midway through a game. Way too eager to wag their tails as Jerry pets them on the head. The reality is they are all ‘Yes Men’.
And lastly, a group of players who for the most part are just average. Tony will never take this team to an NFC title game much less a super bowl.
Good players with good coaches who have good general managers, and an owner who lets the first three do their jobs will succeed. With the current group, we as fans will have to be content ending the season as we have for the last 12 or 13. God I miss Jimmy!
